[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My package is green because the worker at Petco messed up my order and gave me a bigger size of the same thing. I’m not complaining, just letting you know. About the food though. When I opened it, it smelled like food for people, the smell is amazing. It smelled like I cooked chicken for myself not for my dog. The pieces are not very small but not too big either, and it’s soft, when not cold. I usually don’t buy dog foods that have green beans in it because sometimes it causes my dog to have constipation for some reason, but in this one I didn’t see the beans and my dog was fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog absolutely loved Freshpet Vital! She would probably scarf the whole bag if I let her. I personally like how easy to measure and serve to my dog. If you do want it to last longer I would use it as a topper with your dogs dry food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog, a 35 lb staffordshire bull mix, who is 15 years old loves this food! It is easy on her teeth and has a delicious smell that she enjoys. The price for the amount was of good value for a one dog family. I have 5, so buying the amount I would need for each dog is not something that we can do with our budget. But it is nice for a treat for our senior dog who needs a pick me up every once in while. While eating this food, our dog has been playing with our younger dogs more.

As soon as I opened the bag, you can smell how fresh the food is so of course she came running over licking her lips. I absolutely love the take on fresh meals and feel relieved to have the option to give my girl a high quality food. She gobbled this up faster than it took me to pour it in her bowl. She had no issues with it.

As he gets older we were wanting to start making him food from scratch for his health and safety. Fresh pet is super convenient. We actually only feed him this food now! As for his bowel movements i haven’t noticed anything different

What a NIGHTMARE. Petco is THE WORST checkout experience I've ever had in my life. The website is horrible but that's beside the point. I had a $40 gift certificate. I wanted to purchase Petfresh which my dogs love. However, since my total was a little more than $40 I needed to use a credit card for the extra $1.32. I tried to use a Venmo card which had about $2 in the account but it didn't work. So, I used PayPal. When I placed the order PayPal then informed me that I was charged for the entire order. All the while, the Petco site shows that the $40 gift certificate was used and I was only charged $1.32. No PETCO THE ENTIRE $41.42 WAS CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD YOU CRIMINALS. I'm so angry I can't see straight. My credit card is now going to charge me an over limit fee and I'll guarantee you that Petco is going to pay it if I have to go into debt to hire an attorney. That's how furious am.

No, I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog absolutely loved this Vital dog food with chicken, green beans, and whole grains! He was so excited as soon as he smelled the food when we opened the bag. The gently cooked option is a great choice in between dry and wet food- without the mess some wet foods can have. While it is a little pricey, it held really well in the fridge for a few days and was really good quality. My dog devoured his new food eagerly and energetically. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try!
