Questions
This product help to soften my dog's kibbles? Can I use this as a kibble topper?
- Yes, but you will need to slice it and maybe crumble it up because it comes in a firm roll. Â

Can this be frozen?
- Yes. This can be frozen. I slice mine into small wedges and leave in small baggies in the freezer. I give medicine (smashed pill form) with them and my dog loves it.

In the Torrington,CT Petco, Why are they charging $30.29 for a 6lb loaf of FreshPet Vital Chicken/ Brown Rice and Carrots when online it  says $18.49 for a 6lb loaf of the same and available in the Torrington Petco?Â
- I do not live in CT, but I would guess that the local store has probably higher overhead, and those are then passed on to the customer. I apologize if my answer is not too much help.

Someone else has asked this question, but there is no reply. Â WHAT IS THE SODIUM CONTENT OF FRESH PET VITAL... CHICKEN, TURKEY, AND SALMON RECIPES?Â
How long can it be refrigerated if it stays unopened?
- It has an expiration date on each roll.  The ones that I have don’t expire until 11/03/2021.

Can puppies eat this?
Can the Vital dog food be frozen ?
- Yes. I buy the large size for my small dogs because it costs about half as much per pound. Â I cut it into pieces that will each last 4-5 days, then use my Foodsaver to vacuum seal them. Â I don't let it go all the way with the vacuum because it pulls too much moisture out, just until the air is gone, then I hit the seal button. Â

Can you microwave it to warm it up
- I do...10-15 seconds
