Fill your clean litter box with 2-3 inches of Fresh Step litter. Additional Fresh Step litter is recommended if the litter box is used by more than one cat. This is a No Clump, Just Dump litter. Empty the entire litter box as needed, usually about once a week. Dispose of used litter in trash. Remove solid waste daily and dispose of in the trash. Sprinkle additional Fresh Step litter in the litter box each time you remove solid waste to help keep the litter box fresh. Do not flush down the toilet or drain.

As a reminder, especially to pregnant women and immunosuppressed persons, cat feces can sometimes transmit a disease called toxoplasmosis. Therefore, always remember to wash hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter. For further information, consult your doctor. Unused cat litter poses no toxoplasmosis threat. Caution: Do not use this product as a traction aid because product becomes slippery and slick when wet.

I do not like the “new” non clumping cat litter. The fine granules do not absorb and clump. Wish the old version would come back!

I have only ever used Fresh Step clay litter but it seems something has changed. It doesn’t absorb urine or control odors as well as it used to. It also clumps and it’s never done that before. Disappointed.

This litter is so dusty and tracks like crazy. I will not purchase this again. I purchased this to use in my scoopfree automatic litter box, and while it works well, the dust is absolutely awful,l and it tracks worse than the crystal litter did. I do not recommend this.

I had switched from Tidy Cat to Fresh Step because it was a better value. The dust was so bad from this litter it literally took my breath away and coated everything in the room my cats use their litter boxes in. Just sifting it to remove cat feces makes a dust cloud. I won't be purchasing this kind again.

We loved the Fresh Step non-clumping litter. Why was the scent changed? It is now so strong and overwhelming that I may have to switch to another brand. It is so unfortunate.
