For best results, do not mix with non clumping cat litter. For first time use, start with an empty, clean cat litter box. Fill your clean litter box with 3 to 4 inches of Fresh Step Cat Litter. Remove clumps and solids daily and dispose in trash. Do not flush. The rest of the litter stays fresh. Add more Fresh Step Cat Litter to refresh your litter box each time you scoop. Maintain level of litter at 3 to 4 inches.

How often should Fresh Step Extreme Mountain Spring litter be changed and the litter box cleaned? I could not find directions on the box. Can you please send detailed use instructions by email?
- We do litter box changes every week. But scoop every day. This is a 2 cat household also if that helps.

I have been using Tidy Cats Lightweight litter for my now 14 yr old cat, for a couple of years. For the last couple of months the litter seems to stick to her feet, legs and tail so consequently appears all over the house. I have been using the 24/7 variety. Would another variety of their lightweight litter be less prone to this problem?

Hello my cat is an inside and out cat, I live in Florida. I have two litter boxes for him it is a clumping brand so it's an easy clean up, he has no problem using them. the question is the box I have put outside is clumping with out my cat using it, and when it does start to clump he doesn't use the one out side.... but still uses the box with the same litter inside. I have 2 older kitties. One is 18, has had 2 strokes over the summer and he is blind.
