Fill your clean litter box with 3-4 inches of Fresh Step litter. Pour litter no more than a few inches from the box OR keep the carton close to the box when pouring litter. Litter quickly forms a clump around liquid waste. Remove clumps and solids daily, and dispose of in trash. Do not flush. Add more Fresh Step clumping cat litter to refresh your litter box. Maintain level of litter at 3-4 inches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter is a great choice! one you can never go wrong with. the previous litter i had used did not contain the smell all that well and would track everywhere however i continued using it because my cat seemed to prefer it. however with this one none of that happened! sometimes i could go 10 days without changing and still not smell anything at all! super easy cleanup too! it clumps up making it easier than ever to clean, and with the febreze it smells great too!

Solid litter brand if you’re looking for fragrance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Fresh Step brand for a while now so I was excited to try this one with Febreze. The clumps are nice and solid, which makes scooping easy. The Febreze definitely helps with odor control initially, but this doesn’t replace the need for constant scooping or using a metal litter box, which in my opinion are the best ways to control any smells. The scent is a little strong at first, so if you or your cat are sensitive, that might be something to think about. It also does track a little outside the box, but nothing crazy. My only other complaint is that if I let it sit too long, the clumps can stick to the bottom, which makes it harder to clean.
Overall though, I think it’s a solid litter. I do worry about exposing my cat to fragrances over the long term though, so I will probably use this intermittently but not all the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is probably some of the best cat litter! My cat has a bad habit of throwing and tracking litter everywhere. With this, it is minimal. It absorbs great and clumps well, too! Must have for any cat owner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Surprised with this litter. I've had lots of compliments that people couldn't smell that I had cats living in my house. Which is a huge thing for me. Dust level was pretty minimal. Also clumps making for easy clean up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this litter for about 2 weeks now and there are mostly pros and a few cons. let’s start with the cons, it’s dusty so if you have sensitivities to dust- this wouldn’t be a good option. but, besides the dust, it works great at keeping odor down, it clumps really well without wasting litter, and it’s SUPER easy to scoop!! highly suggest to anybody without dust sensitivities :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this litter for approx 2 weeks now, and I’d say it’s pretty good. I have 1 cat and I clean the litter box every 2-3 days since it’s pretty big. It clumps like a normal clumping litter, but I’ve noticed it tends to stay wet and while scooping it can kind of just crumble. This litter is definitely on the dustier side, and I noticed that my cat sneezed almost every time she got out of the litter box, so I mixed some of her old litter in with it and she’s had no issues since. When it comes to tracking, I didn’t notice any difference than usual, my cat has a way of getting litter all over the floor no matter what. Overall, good litter, it does its job.

It truly controls odor—I didn’t notice any lingering smells, even after a few days. The clumping is strong and makes scooping quick and easy. Even when my cat kicks some out of the litter box, it’s easy to sweep or pick up without leaving a mess behind. Definitely my go-to litter from now on!
