For best results, do not mix with non clumping cat litter. For first time use, start with an empty, clean cat litter box. Fill it with 3 to 4 inches of Fresh Step Cat Litter. Remove clumps and solids daily and dispose in trash. Do not flush. The rest of the litter stays fresh. Add more Fresh Step Cat Litter to refresh your litter box each time you scoop. Maintain level of litter at 3 to 4 inches.

As a reminder, especially to pregnant women and immunosuppressed persons, cat feces can sometimes transmit a disease called toxoplasmosis. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter is a game changer! Usually my cat gets the litter all over the floor when she gets out of the box because it's on her paws but this doesn't do that so it's not only effective at keeping it smelling clean it's also staying clean with no litter mess to clean up! It clumps up perfectly to clean it out of the box with no issues! The packaging is attractive as well, bright colors that grab your attention!! Over all I highly recommend this for any and all cat mommies that want to keep your house smelling clean and staying clean.
