For best results, do not mix with non clumping cat litter. For first time use, start with an empty, clean cat litter box. Fill it with 3 to 4 inches of Fresh Step Cat Litter. Remove clumps and solids daily and dispose in trash. Do not flush. The rest of the litter stays fresh. Add more Fresh Step Cat Litter to refresh your litter box each time you scoop. Maintain level of litter at 3 to 4 inches.
As a reminder, especially to pregnant women and immunosuppressed persons, cat feces can sometimes transmit a disease called toxoplasmosis. Therefore, always remember to wash hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter. For further information, consult your doctor. Unused cat litter poses no toxoplasmosis threat. Caution: Do not use this product as a traction aid because product becomes slippery and slick when wet.

RECENCTLY BOUGHT FRESH STEP CLEAN PAWS LOW TRACKING FOR MULTIPLE CATS. MY ACTS DON'T SEEM TO LIKE STEPPING ON IT. IS THERE ANOTHER FREESH STEP FABREZE THAT IS LESS COARSE/HAS SOFTER MATERIAL FOR LITTER?
- I’m sorry I’m so happy with this product I don’t use any other if I can help it. I have never noticed my cats having an issue with it. I have four and two of them are 15 years old. They use it happily. One more successfully than the other, but the other has never been good at covering her poop.

Is this litter non-tracking?
- I’m not sure I believe any litter is truly non tracking. I use this because it is the best odor control for my multiple cats. That being said I have a mat outside each litter box and we don’t have any trouble with tracking.

Are the Clean Paw PARTICLES larger ( OR any different in size) in the 22.5 BOX VS in the 9.45lb bags that are sold in the cases? We first used Clean Paws in boxes and then switched to the 4-bag cases -- the particles in the bags seem smaller.

I'm worried about using a fragrance within the litter. Has it been tested not to make the cats sick??
- I have been using it for 3 years with multiple cats and had multiple boxes and the cats all have done very well with it. It is great on controlling odor. I have not had any illnesses and like I mentioned I have had multiple kittens and cats!

I would like to have a detailed description of ingredients on Clean Paws Unscented. I’m having a hard time getting an answer, and I’m not sure why it’s not listed on the box.

Does this come in the 42 lb size? Just started to use but really like that clumps don't stick to little pan with this litter!
