Large lab ate xs French kiss and sounds like he’s gagging/coughing 5 - 15hrs after. If it is lodged in his throat would it dissolve?

Can puppies have these French kisses?
- My 5-month-old pure bred Maltese and our 10-year-old Maltese loves them. They near dissolve after a few chews. I found a soggy one on the floor and it fell apart! I doubt seriously it would upset them, unless the dog becomes allergic to the ingredients, but nothing happened with mine. Nor my daughters mixed breed who is 7years old, when I gave her 4 of them to try. Now she wants more! I trust Merrick its from Texas!

sorry they’re not pedigree tasty bites. we just keep these snacks in that package because the pedigree one closes, and the original package for this snack doesn’t, so when the pedigree ones were done we put this small bones there. they’re called “snack mini-bone” by activpet but they’re no available in the US. i do remember that in the original package it said it was good as a reward for exercise.

He has bad dental issues as it is and the vet said that brushing wouldn't really do much since his teeth are so bad.
