When trimming nails, especially on dogs with dark nails, they can bleed even when you're careful. I feel more at ease knowing I have this. I wish I had purchased it sooner, because my cat damaged his nail a few months ago and was bleeding off and on for a while before I even noticed. All I could do was sterilize it and apply ointment while waiting for it to heal. This would have stopped the bleeding sooner. Definitely recommend.

My dog was moving around and I ended up putting some on my finger to get it on her head good. She has a wart on her head and must have scratched it and got it bleeding. It stopped the bleeding immediately.
