travel crate

This pet crate was purchased to transport our 12lb cavapoo puppy in our cars. She does not like to sit still and having her run around in the car was not an option. This is very sturdy and the perfect size for travel. Plenty of ventilation and it lets her see out so she doesn’t feel too trapped. So happy we found this at a great price!

Yes, I recommend this product.

What the heck does this mean? "California proposition 65 warning" in the description?

  1. California passed a proposition in 1986 requiring a label to be placed on any product manufactured or containing materials that increase cancer risk to greater than 1 in 100,000.  Many items we buy have this label and I’m sure it’s to protect the manufacturers from a lawsuit if someone ends up with cancer.

does this crate have 2 doors? One in front and one on side?

Is the sherpa pad removable and washable? It is not noted in the description.

    1. Yes it is. A few things about this crate. First I love it. But it is not made for hard-core escape artists. I bought this crate for my shih tzu who escaped from traditional crates. She used a digging action to make a small hole to slip through. I gave up on crating her at night. Not long after we adopted her sister Tater tot an English bulldog puppy. I patched the hole with a military field patch. They are durable as heck. Tater managed to work the patch off & pop her head out. She managed to chew off the zipper. I still use it by rigging up ways to block the doorway. Most mornings we wake up to find Tater out & so proud of her destruction while we sleep. Takeaway? I love it I just wish it was more secure which really has nothing to do with the removable washable pad.

I have a Samoyed would this hold her if she was in it for periods of time? I have a collapsible one and when she lays down in it it rolls with her.

    1. There are metal reinforced bar and it does not easily roll but if she tries to get out the mesh is easily torn.  I don't think it will roll with your dog but if she is active this may not be the best carrier.  I got the large for my 22 lb Shiba Inu who scratch the mesh doors and it is now torn.  She is able to get out easily. It is made for more sedated dogs.

Would any of these fit under seat in airplane I have a 25 lb doxie

    1. No. I would get the hard crates that are airplane safe.

What are the dimension of this crate, height, width, and depth? What amount of weight is the crate designed to hold?

    1. Click on attributes/specifications it will give dimensions. Does not list for what weight of pet.
