DO NOT BUY!! The heater exploded and electrocuted/killed my beta fish. Came home to the water black and a dead fish that was very important to my family. Very disappointed. RIP Blurples

Tank killed my fish and snail

I bought this product a few months ago and I would advise anyone to STAY AWAY from this tank. The heater of this product exploded within the tank killing both my beta fish and my snail. I had no issues with this tank up to this point. I returned home to my home smelling like smoke only to see the the lid of the container covered in black dust, the water in the tank clouded, and my fish dead. This tank was used properly as per product instructions.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Beyond amazing. Filter is huge for a 2.6 gallon tank. Pump is absolutely silent. Perfect for my daughter's room. We have a 75 gallon and had babies so now have a home for a molly to make this 2.6 gallon tank a great new home. Couldn't be happier with the light and overall design.

Just received this from Door Dash and the plastic base is broken so bad I cannot put my fish in this! I like Fluval but I am losing confidence in their products. Now I have to what return and hope I don't get another broken tank!

Worth the money! The filer is SILENT! I'm one of those people sensitive to even the smallest noise and I can't even tell when this is on. Even the lowest flow was too strong for my Beta so I added a sponge to the end of the hose. One thing I've learned over the years is to always splurge on Fluval. I'd trade my standard ten gallon for the Evo if I had the money.

I am having so much trouble with the new light on the fluval spec with the led 7000k. The tank has so much algae I had to cover up some of the lights including the blue lights which should not be there very disappointed

    This is not a question, but I’ll respond to it anyway. I have had the same problem with my Spec tanks. The lights are too bright and contribute to algae growth. I have mine on a timer and they are only on for a couple hours a day as a reminder for me to feed the fish.

      No, replacements are needed with this aquarium. It comes with all the filtration media you need, including a porous foam block with convenient handle, activated carbon and BioMax bio rings. The pump and filtration system are conveniently located in a separate chamber at one end of the aquarium to make cleaning and maintenance as simple as possible.

      Yes. A 25w will do fine since Betta's should be kept between 76-80. I keep mine at 79
