Would it work on a 20 gal tank?

  1. It would work well for a 20 gal since it is rated for a 25. However, make sure the fish in the tank tolerate this much water circulation because there will be quite a bit of movement.

Would one of these be ok for a 60 gallon fish only saltwater tank?

I am looking for a pump that is not too powerful for a 29 gallon tank. Would this work to provide some flow in the tank and break that surface tension on the water?

    1. Yes it will, it has some power. Have 2 in 50 gallon tank, works great & fish love the flow!

Would this pump work for a 14 gal saltwater cube aquarium?  I’m hoping to get some soft corals at some point but I’m not sure exactly how much flow they require.  This will be my first time caring for corals of any kind

    1. Yes

Is Fluval CP1 work as air pump? Or just circular water?

    1. The circulation pump can replace an air pump when directed at the surface of the water causing surface agitation and breaking the surface tension.  Broken surface tension is what oxygenates the aquarium, not the actual bubbles coming from your air pump (the bubbles themselves oxygenate the aquarium by breaking surface tension at the top).  It is not an air pump, it’s a circulation pump, but can be used to eliminate the need for an air pump when aimed upwards towards the surface of the water breaking the surface tension.
