Not really sure what other customers are doing wrong but I use these cartridges for my 3 6.8 gallon Nano bookshelf tanks and a single cartridge can last me 2 weeks to a month at a time with a 3 drops per second bubble count. I'd assume they didn't read the manual and follow proper instructions on setting the initial pressure on their regulator or setup

This is a good budget co2 system, but it’s not super reliable. Once I had a cartridge go empty the day after I used it, and occasionally the cartridge comes in a little less than 1,500 psi. Still good for a budget tank but I would upgrade to a different system if I was able to

The whole CO2 setup by Fluval is trash. Don’t waste your time on buying it. It doesn’t work and it WILL explode at some point.

Overall a good product. Should be a little taller, and have a another level to place another tank on it. Because the top of the stand is a little lower than normal. Water changes are a little slow.

I don't recall the threading size but it is the same as those small CO2 bottles for bicycle tire refilling. The larger threading closer to paint ball CO2 bottles does NOT fit the small kit. If you are trying to use this with a paintball CO2 then you need the larger Fluval kit or just get a specialized one online.
