Wish I could tell you
Unfortunately even with 2 pair of pump pliers I wasn’t able to un screw the original apparatus. So in my honest opinion just spend the extra $3 & buy entire replacement. I gave it stars because I can’t say anything at all about it cause I never was able to install it. I’ll save it & see if I get better luck next time.
