Help! The submersible pump on my 3.7 gallon is making loud motor sounds and spitting out small bubbles that by morning cover the whole top of the tank. I’m scared for my fishes life what should I do?
Reds's aquarium is so very cloudy. Can't see turtle til she surfaces! Don't know what caused this or what to do. Ordered vacuum but it won't be here until Friday. Please Help. Put in stuff for ammonia.
I just purchased Imagitarium Ammonia-Reducing filter media cubes from Petco and there are no instructions for how to use. I have a 5 gallon tank with a submerged Built-in filtration system how many cubes do I use and how do I put them in my filter? Please provide the instructions thank you for your time.
I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Will a UV sterilizer help ?? Please advise. Thanks Lina
Is hydrogen peroxide safe to use on aquarium fish
hi, I need some help with water condition of my fish tank. I’ve recently got 6 new fish and added in my 10 gallon fish tank three days ago. I did set up my tank for 48 hours before adding fish but now the water gets cloudy with tiny air bubbles on the surface. I mistakenly gave too much food to them yesterday which I guess made water cloudier, I’m not sure if I need to do the partial water change or let it go. One of my fish (silver molly) keeps lingering near the surface to breath...

I’m trying to cycle a 10 gal fish tank. I have been adding your biological booster for a month now and nothing is happening. The ammonia is holding steady at .5 ppm and I’m not seeing any nitrites. Is there a way I can test to see if there are actually live bacteria in the booster. I’ve checked everything else I can think of.
Trying to treat betta for Popeye otherwise healthy happy and active. Moved from five to three gallon filtered heated tanks. Feed freeze dried blood worms, daphnia and bug bites by fluval. Also am changing some if not all water every few days. Treated with kanaplex several doses no real improvement. Switzed to metroplex in water treatment as I don't know how food treatment works or how to dose started four doses two days apart and there is some improvement to the eyes. Med is miconidazole.
I need help my kid just fed his beta fish pop rocks, will he be ok, he fed him 15-20
How to manage planted aquarium if I have gone for 1 month from to home at job ?.....And which things to do that my planted aquarium (75 litre ) will be prevented to algae and amonia ?
We are new to having aquariums, we really didn't realize so many things played a factor with the water. We currently have a 10 gallon tank but want to increase to a 29 gallon tank. We currently buy gallons of water but with the 29 gallon tank we really don't want to have to do that. We have well water with a salt filter. My levels from to tap was nitrate 10, nitrite 0, hardness 0, chlorine 0, alk 100, ph 7.. is my tap water safe even with the salt filter.
