Questions
How often does this need to be replaced or how many water changes are possible in 120 gallon aquarium
- Sorry to read, no one has answered your question yet. I have used this product for the past 4 years, and use this in a 75gal Discus tank with 4 Discus and 50 Neon Tetras in it. Their tank stays clear along with monthly cleanings, and it does help with the phosphates, nitrites and nitrates. I use and change out 1 of these Clearmax filters each month, and I know it is helping keep them healthy and their tank clear. For a 120gal tank I'd start with 6 then use 3 each month, water changes at least 2 times a month I'd say. I change out my tanks water using water from the lake here, and filter it through Canadian Peat Mose before adding it to my tank. Thanks for your question.
