Questions
Does the 9 gallon cone with a heater?
- No it did not

Does this tank tend to have a problem with leaking, and is it hard to clean out the filter compartment?
- It is not difficult to clean and I see no signs of a leak. I have a 200 gallon tank that had to be resealed after springing a leak so I know what to look for and this little tank is very high quality. I use it for a gourami that hates everyone and everything besides his plant, so I had to remove him from my large tank and he’s been far less stressed and happy alone in this tank.

With this tank to do you want to use both the filters the biomax and the carbon one?
- Yes! I've found that my water has never gotten the slightest bit hazy using both, it's a great system. I tend to just rinse off the black media filter though.

What size heater is recommended for the 9 gallon Fluval tank and is there an opening in the lid so it can be placed in tank and cord allowed to run to a nearby receptable?
- Yes there is a compartment that the heater goes in. I bout the 20 watts heater

Would this be a good tank for two mollies?
- Depends on size of mollies. 1 inch per gallon is recommended

Can this be used for a beta fish or is the filter too strong?
- It IS too strong as is, but you can modify it by putting sponges in the open spaces in the back to slow the flow, and the output nozzles can be manipulated towards the back. If you cycle your tank before you get the fish, which is recommended (find a reputable betta group for info, not a pet store employee) then that will help as the break in period helps with the flow as well.

Is it a glass or acrylic tank ?
- Ir is a quality bowed top to bottom. I have both and the glass is a bit thicker on the 15, but the 9 is great just less glass, quantity only, never sacrifice for standard!

If the filter cartridge reusable or does it require replacement cartridges?
- There is no "filter cartridge" for this setup its not an AIO printer. You need to physically add the bagged ceramic on bottom and carbon or just a nice piece of highly porous volcanic rock. They work amazing for so much bb can grow. I even put one in compartment 1, just for more bb! That keeps your tank "stable" which along with stable temp is all you need. Check your water weekly or bi-weekly, but check it else you have no idea what's in the water!
