This is a BEAUTIFUL tank !! now we just need to get some babies for it . Thank You We Love it. Well worth the money. we love the hidden filter and heater ect . the light options are Amazing . Very Happy we will be purchasing the 32 gallon as well now. Possibly the salt water version too for the main room. Just have to research the process of salt water.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Customer service nonexistent

The tank functioned ok for a bit. It's definitely not worth the price (even if on sale). I'm one of the many who's LED/remote stopped functioning. Customer service was not interested in assisting. The lack of quality and customer service will have me looking elsewhere in an upgrade.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Bought this tank and really like the way it looks. But I can't find the Biomax replacement bags anywhere so what do you do? I can find it in bulk but how do you use it with this set up, considering it came in an a sealed mesh bag and you can't re- fill it?

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great fish tank. Filter, pump and heater are hidden for a clean look, similar to how some larger tanks are setup. Bio filter works well. Overall great take.

3 stars for solid craftsmanship, cool concept and modern shape.. but the swim space for fish is SMALL and a good portion of the tank is taken up with filter. The floor of it is 11"x11" = 122 square inches. I tried for 2 years to make this work. My fish swim circles and don't school. If you decide to buy any way, the pump can rattle pack filter material around it.. problem solved. The light sensor gets effected by moisture.. I solved this with a piece of milk jug cut and wedged to cover the sensor. FYI. My new 20 gallon floor is 12"x23.75" = 285 inches, which is more than double the side to side swim space of the 15g flex and within minutes my fish were actually schooling.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Okay but the lid wires were faulty. I live 2 ish hours away from a store so it's not exactly easy for me to go and replace it.

Questions

1 - 5 of 5 Questions
Sort by: Newest Answers

how much water does it hold

  1. 11-12 gallons after decor, plants and fish/shrimp.

What is the GPH on the return pump?

  1. 132 gph on the 15-gallon version, 61 on the 9-gallon version. WAY too powerful in my experience.

Does it have to be completely full in order for the filter to work?

    Does this include a heater?

    1. No.  It includes a filter unit and a very over-enthusiastic pump only.  No heater is included.

What would be the weight of this tank/light/filter ensemble with water only? I can figure out the substrate separately...

    1. The aquarium itself weighs 27 pounds.  15 gallons of water will weigh (@ 8 pounds/gallon) 120 pounds, so a total of 147 pounds.  Your substraight will of course add to that but will displace a bit of water…
