I have a Betta Fish that has a large white lump near his tail I'm not sure if it is swim bladder, tumor, or a fungus
Hello! I purchased a male koi betta from a Petco two days ago. He is currently living in a two gallon filtered aquarium. Yesterday I noticed him laying on the floor of the aquarium, but I assumed he was just sleeping. Today when I woke up he was covered in a sort of fuzzy substance, which I assume to be fungus, and still laying on the floor of the aquarium. Sometimes he will get up and swim around. I want to do something to prevent him from dying, but I don't know what to do. Please help!
I have been treating my betta fish for fin rot but I have noticed a small white lump growing on one side of his gills. I've been using AQ Salt as treatment for the past 3 days (2 tsp in 1-gallon tank with 100% water change daily) and noticed little improvement. I was wondering what the small lump could be and if I am doing something wrong with the treatment. He seems to be more lethargic either hiding or floating at the top of the tank. He also seems to be eating less
My betta fish has fin rot, it’s progressing very fast. Within a day there’s a noticeable difference. He’s in a 55 gallon glofish tank(I tried multiple dividers and he kept escaping with no injuries) yesterday I put some betta fix medicine but it took the whole bottle, didn’t even get the desired dose for the tank. I have a 10 gallon for the betta but the stuff for nitrogen cycle is in the mail and I know it can take a long time. I’m not sure what to do. Thank you!
My pond goldfish had swim bladder issues so has been inside for 6 weeks. He was pretty active and I brought in another to keep him company. Since Feb 1st, he is at the bottom, eating a bit especially when I drop it right in from of him. No external signs of any disease that I can seen. Nitrites are high as tank is cycling. I am adding Prime, aquarium salt (1 gram) and 30% water changes. Nitrite converting bacteria is establishing now. Any thought on what it could be and what to do? Thank you
Hi, I just tested my betta tanks water & his ph is good sitting at 7.5. But my alkalinity & water hardness are both very high at 720 ppm (alkalinity) & 300 ppm (hardness). i’m just curious if i should be concerned since my ph is normal
My male Betta fish isn’t moving
