Source for original Fluval foam pads?
- Thank you for your question. The difference in the texture does not affect the efficiency of the filter, and these are the recommended replacement filters although slightly different in texture.

- If you order the filter pad that fits both the 206 and 306 than it should fit. They are the same size and fit both filters

I just purchased Imagitarium Ammonia-Reducing filter media cubes from Petco and there are no instructions for how to use. I have a 5 gallon tank with a submerged Built-in filtration system how many cubes do I use and how do I put them in my filter? Please provide the instructions thank you for your time.
When I change the water in my fish tank, after I add the appropriate amount of conditioner, a white fuzz seems to appear on all the objects in my tank, aside from the fish. I’ve had the tank for over a year now and it happens on all the water changes. My fish seem to be unaffected (I have 4). What could potentially be happening?
Trying to treat betta for Popeye otherwise healthy happy and active. Moved from five to three gallon filtered heated tanks. Feed freeze dried blood worms, daphnia and bug bites by fluval. Also am changing some if not all water every few days. Treated with kanaplex several doses no real improvement. Switzed to metroplex in water treatment as I don't know how food treatment works or how to dose started four doses two days apart and there is some improvement to the eyes. Med is miconidazole.
I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Will a UV sterilizer help ?? Please advise. Thanks Lina
Is activated carbon good to use in an aquarium with surgeon fish?
My fish has bulges on both sides. They have been there for months. The fish spent months fighting the other glofish in the aquarium. The water is tested, changed about every 3-4 weeks. Water change is 50%. I also change the filter 3-4 weeks. I feed flakes, dried blood worms, and frozen assortment of food.
My new fish tank is being occupied by some white cotton web like thing at the bottom.. the are found on the natural plants and food remainings in the tank.. please help .. how to get rid of it? I tried changing the water 3 times..
I had two goldfish, one died. The other started to grow this white stuff which covered his eyes like a fog. When it got bad, we replaced some of the water. The fish was fine but it came back & faded away w/out any replacement of water and now it's back again. Is this a fungus or what? The white stuff never reaches far off the fish, it just seems to grow glaze over the scales. Any suggestions on what it is and how to handle this problem?
Reds's aquarium is so very cloudy. Can't see turtle til she surfaces! Don't know what caused this or what to do. Ordered vacuum but it won't be here until Friday. Please Help. Put in stuff for ammonia.
I have a problem with parrot fish tank , when after water change I used 1000mg erythromycin for prevention to fungus and bacterial infection for parrot fish , so i today mistakenly not running filter and heater ,after that I seeing that in a large quantities white micro parasitic or bacteria type in tank in a free swimming stage swim all over tank though what I do that in this condition please help me ?
I have 65 litre aquarium tank with internal power filter I change water weekly 50-80%. but not cleaning to Internal from 15 days . So what happened if we don't clean filter for one month it's harm to fish or for my room ?
