I bought this a couple of weeks ago. I am a new owner to a 6 year old bearded dragon. She did not like this at all, so next time I will be getting live crickets instead.

I bought this for my bearded dragon, and when I opened it the can the crickets was smashed and just nasty looking even for my dragon. When I buy the grasshoppers they never look like this.

Too big for most of my crew, and bigger than the grasshoppers but at least the majority showed interest, including my baby savannah monitors. It took them 15 minutes to rip apart one of these enough to eat. I will be trying the smaller ones to see how that goes. Photo included is my monitors

Yes, I recommend this product.

Bought for my bearded dragon. Way too large. My beardie is only about 8 inches long. Product was way too big for him. I would recommend for beardie a over 1 foot in length.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I plan on getting a carnivorous plant. Would this work for a cape sundew?

    Can humans eat them?

    1. Not approved for human consumption, but they are canned and presumably sterile. They are the big black field crickets, not the gray or banded kind. Since they appear to be steamed, they are soft and a little wet as opposed to crunchy so you might not find them all that appetizing.

    Can crested geckos eat this?

    1. Nope. Try Pangea diet

Do these need to be refrigerated?

    1. Yes

Are the cans and lids BPA free?

I have frog that just recently became frog can I feed this to them

How much do I feed a baby leopard gecko?

        1. This depends on how big the gecko is. Usually you should use about 2 insects for each inch of length. You should feed them every day but not as much when they get older. Do lots of research to make sure you care for your lizard properly to keep them healthy :)

Can these be dusted with calcium? Or can they be dusted in reptivite and which one is better reptivite or calcium?

Can these dead crickets attract any animals for example flies? Also do they have to be refrigerated? Lastly can these be fed to a juvenile or baby crested gecko?

          1. They have to be refrigerated and they are not meant for Crested geckos try Pangaea they will attract flies

          Are the crickets dead?

          1. Hi A Guy, Yes, but please check our website for choices of live crickets. Thanks,
