Questions
I need to find a UVB bulb that will work with this lamp. I've spent 2 hours trying to figure this out, and everything I've found is incompatible. Does anyone have a product they recommend?
- Most clamp lamps are not designed for uvb bulbs. They are particularly made for heat lights. Any uvb bulb that you put in a clamp lamp will most likely not project enough uvb for almost any reptile because of the orientation they are in, and the uvb output is next to none. Unless they are nocturnal. Even then that's a big maybe. Any of the smaller uvb bulbs should be placed horizontall with more surface area of the bulb exposed. What species do you have? How much uvb does your species need? Do you need high output uvb? Some questions to ask and answer. Your best bet would probably be to use a canopy type light fixture by zoo med or exo terra. Also, an aquarium canopy could be an option. Hope this helps.

Does this lamp emit uvb?
- That would depend on the actual bulb put into it, which is sold separately.

can this work with UVB and basking lamp?
- The lamp has to be able to handle the wattage of a UVB bulb which is at least a 100 watts and it can’t be a dimmable lamp. Otherwise it should be ok for both. It should also have a ceramic socket for a UVB bulb but not necessary for a basking lamp
