Place 10-20 pellets in a shallow dish away from any heat source to prevent pellets from drying out. Adjust the amount offered depending on the appetite and/or needs of your reptile. Adding a small amount of water to feeding dish (just enough to cover bottom of dish) will help food remain moist longer. Remove uneated food after 12 hours. Can be used as salad topper.

Would an African Side-neck turtle be able to eat these on a weekly basis? I am having trouble getting him to eat nonfloating food and soft pellets and was wondering if this would be a healthy option, along with fresh veggies and live insects.
- Yes, I had one a while ago till I had to rehome her and this was the only pellet I could get her to eat and it has great quality

Would an African Side-neck turtle be able to eat these on a weekly basis? I am having trouble getting him to eat floating food and hard pellets and was wondering if this would be a healthy option, along with fresh veggies and live insects.
- Hello I have a sideneck turtle and this is the only food he likes! My guy doesn't like floating food either. Which these sink. Definitely give it a try. Most side neck turtles are picky eaters

how long do they last once opened
- I keep this food in the refrigerator after I open the bag but my aquatic turtle finishes a bag every 3 weeks. She loves the moist food and won't eat dry pellets anymore.
