My two dogs loved these treats, and we've been ordering them for the past few years. So imagine my surprise when I opened the newest bag from Petco, and discovered they didn't look or smell like the old ones! Turns out, they removed the chicken and beef liver - and added other, cheaper fillers, like "moisture." (see my picture comparison) And yet, the packaging is exactly the same, the bar code is the same, etc. It's just such a crummy thing to do, trying to pass off a cheaper inferior product as the same treats we've grown to love. At least change the product description to say you've adopted a different recipe. But really, shame on you for cutting costs and corners, rather than just raising the price a little. The whole reason we bought these treats were because they were better quality than most of what's sold in the stores. That's no longer the case.
