My dog is almost five and does not like having his teeth brushed. This powder that we use once a day at dinner time definitely helps prevent plaque buildup! I told our vet that we use this product and they agreed it is beneficial for dogs who don't like regular teeth brushing. My dog can also be a fast eater, and I think sprinkling this over his food in the evening helps him slow down. We are scheduled to get his teeth professionally cleaned in a few weeks, and I'm looking forward to this product helping to maintain the cleanliness after that!

Cats will not eat this, but I also tried the collagen. They ate it, but it gave him really bad constipation. And do not recommend this company.

If this has a low rating, it's usually a cat that won't eat it. I have 4 cats and none of them will eat their food with this mixed it no matter what I mix it with. They even refused their fresh sardines! I thought surely sardines would mask the seaweed smell!? Nope. I even started with half a scoop. Back to the drawing board...

We’ve been using dental support for 3 months. Thrilled to see how much whiter our dogs teeth appear. So hoping this will delay the bigger procedure of needing the Vet to do a major teeth cleaning.

Neither of my cats (F6 and F12) will touch their food if I add more than 1/3 scoop of this stuff, even my very food-motivated six year old. They eat pate food once a day with added water and I mix the powder in thoroughly, but both refuse to eat their food if there’s any decent amount of this powder in it. I’ve tried it with different flavors of wet food, but they always hate it.

My dog is allergic to many ingredients and usually has horrible breath. I bought Feral Pet dental because it doesn't contain the ingredients my dog is allergic to as an act of desperation, but skeptical of results. It's been almost a month and his bad breath has improved tremendously. I am back buying another jar.
