The Female Koi Betta is a spectacular variety bred for its vibrant, koi-like patterning that mimics ornamental pond koi. Each fish features a unique blend of reds, oranges, blacks, blues, and whites, often changing over time due to the marble gene, a trait that makes every individual one-of-a-kind. Their energetic presence and colorful splotches make them a favorite centerpiece in nano aquariums. Though delicate-looking, they are hardy and intelligent, thriving with proper care in a well-maintained aquarium. A varied diet of high-quality Betta pellets, frozen or live foods such as Bloodworms, Brine shrimp, and Daphnia is ideal for their continued health. A gentle filter is recommended and be sure to prevent strong currents for this Betta. With proper care, the Female Koi Betta can live 2-4 years, serving as a stunning and mesmerizing aquatic pet.

ACCLIMATION: Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. For new aquariums, adding new fish slowly helps to properly develop the nitrogen cycle, which creates a safe environment for your aquatic pets. A bacteria booster may also help develop a new aquarium for your new fish. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried, and frozen food, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller, unfiltered aquariums.
If we need to contact you for any reason about your order, shipping of your package may be affected. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order summary. Orders are subject to verification of payment information by phone or email.

Hi! I was wondering if my female Betta fish is pregnant?
My female betta has dropsy what can I get her
Hello. I have a female Koi Betta fish named Coral. I estimate she is about 8-9 months old. So far she is doing very good but for the past few days her color has faded and she has been near the top of the water and she has not been eating. I am not sure what is wrong with her but do you guys have suggestions for extra vitamins or different food. Thank you so much !
My female betta fish has two white/silver spots near her gills. The spots are not raised and look like they could even be scales but I’m not sure. Today I moved her to a new tank with a filter and she soon had lots of white spots around her mouth and chest.
what kind of fish are these? and would they be good with a male betta
I think my betta fish is pregnant. What do I do.
I bought a female betta fish and i put it with my other 6 fish in my 3.5 gallon tank and it has unusual behaviors, it's staying my the bottom and it's barely swimming and eating. I put the fish in the container it came in with some water and food and the food is still there. Also, some of my other female betta are always by the filter so i don't know if that's usual for them in a new tank or not
where do you buy show quality bettas
My female betta is just lying at the bottom of her tank and she will only come up to eat, I bought a 10 gallon tank with a divider and I have a male beta in there. Should I wait to put her in?
Good day i have 2 betta males and 2 betta females i put tge females in the tank with the males in a separate container how long should i keep them this way before releasing the female into the tank freely with the male?
A female(?) Molly fish with swollen belly, isolated from the other fish in the tank. Had for approximately 17 days.
