What is the difference between the multi-cat, enhanced and classic diffusers?
- I do not have a scientific background/understanding of the line of Flyway products, but I can share my own experiences to see if will help. We integrated two young male cats with our one remaining elderly female cats and there was a lot of angst and displeasure from the existing cat. We deployed six diffusers with the "Optimum" (classic) type, but that didn't seem to make a difference. After reading the descriptions better, it seemed the "Multi-Cat" type would better fit what was going on in our feline household. Multi-cat worked much better, and after two years, we're down to just one diffuser, strategically placed where they are likely to all three hang out the most. My uneducated guess is that if the problem is unique to one cat, i.e. if the kitty has underlying anxiety issues, then Optimum might be the best fit. If it's a matter of two more more cats fighting or messing with each other, then the Multi-Cat might be a better solution. I hope this helps!

What does the room smell like while using this diffuser. I have bought some collars that contain the same ingredient and they smell awful.
- Musky is the wrong word but comes closest… I didn’t smell it in the rest of the room where it was plugged in but just in the area near the plug.

Is it safe to use 3 diffusers in a 1400 sq foot house if the rooms are really separate from each other? And can I use the multicat refills if I bought a single cat diffuser? I recently added 4 cats when a friend passed away.
- Feliway website says that Classic diffuser requires Classic refills, Multicat diffuser requires Multicat refills.

How many Feliway plugins do I need for 1500 sq. ft?
- Hello – Since you have 1,500 square feet to cover, we would recommend two FELIWAY diffusers since each diffuser will cover 750 square feet. Make sure to plug the diffusers in different outlets to reach the maximum amount of space in your home. You cannot overdose your cat on pheromones. When you are deciding where to plug the diffusers in, make sure it is a location where you cat likes to be and not in a hallway, under furniture or behind a door. Thank you.
