Feliway is a synthetic copy of the feline facial pheromone, used by cats to mark their territory as safe and secure. By mimicking the cat's natural facial pheromones, Feliway creates a state of familiarity and security in the cat's local environment. As a result, Feliway can be used to help comfort and reassure cats while they cope with a challenging situation and help prevent or reduce the stress caused by a change in their environment.

Diffusers should be placed where the cat spends the most time. If you are considering this product for a cat peeing outside the box, you can also place the diffuser in the room where the cat is urine spraying most often.FELIWAY Diffuser should be used for at least 30 days. Most behaviors will show improvement within 7 days, including peeing outside the box and scratching furniture. Depending on the behavior, you may need to continue using the FELIWAY diffuser longer than 30 days. When choosing a plug for the FELIWAY diffuser, make sure there is nothing above the outlet that will obstruct the airflow and diffusion of the pheromone. It should not be placed under a cabinet, behind a couch, or near an open window.Diffuser heads should be replaced every 6 months.

Hi, I was wondering if there were vet recommended feliway sprays I can buy. They seem really pricey online and I don't want to spend money on one that end up being unreliable. My cat gets really anxious in the carrier and sometimes spoils herself and starts panting so I'm in urgent need of feliway spray. Thank you!
Hi, I'm going to move with my 8-months-old kitten in a couple of days and the trip will take over 5-6 hours. I've decided to use Beaphar products. What is it better to use to reduce the stress - the collar or the drops? And is there any product from that brand to help stranger cats get along?
How can I get my cat more comfortable when I have visitors over? I have Feliway plugged in and I don't have loud parties, but my terrified cat spent many hours in my box spring when a friend came over recently for a short visit. This always happens.
Two weeks ago I moved into a new house. My 13 year old and 4 year old female cats have adapted well. My 8 year old male, Watson, wanders the house at night yowling. I've given him calming treats, canned food, favorite toys, and used Feliway diffusers. Is there anything else I can do to ease the adjustment for him?
Introducing two cats to a cat and dog household. Would the defusers for cat and dog work together if on at the same time or counteract each other?
Hi! I have 5 cats in my home and I have those new Airwick Essential Oil diffusers that run on batteries? (If you look it up, I'm sure you can find them!). I was wondering if it's safe to use with cats in the home? They have different oils but the ones I have are Lavender/Almond Blossom and Fresh Water Breeze. I can't seem to find the ingredient list for these two oils so I thought I'd post this. If you could please let me know if these are safe or which oils are safe, that would be wonderful!
My cat (17) is really troubled by fleas. She gets Revolution once/month. I believe it helps but even after 3 weeks she’s scratching furiously and sometimes meowing in dismay. Better medication? Treatment for environment?? Thank you.
Hi I have three indoor cats at home and somehow they got fleas and I have tried frontline drops a hartz flea collar a flea shampoo and a dawn soap bath also and nothing is working. I have also fogged the house and bought carpet and upholstery spray. Please help!
Recommend flea spray for Chihuahua
CARESHARE Is 1 ml enough for my 5 yr old 10 lb cat for pain relief? He was involved in a cat fight and sustained superficial Injuries but I can tell he is hurting a little. Sorry, I thought I put the name of the medication. It's Gabapentin. It was given to me by my vet to decrease my cat's anxiety when taking him to checkups.
I asked a question a few days ago about how to help my cat with his extreme anxiety when traveling. I tried feliway spray which hardly did anything and my cat screamed and cried and scratched the whole way home. I was wondering if in the future he needs to travel with me, would it be ok to give him 1/2 of one of my alprazolam? I have 0.25mg tablets that I’m prescribed for panic and anxiety. Is this safe to give him rarely or does he really need a vet visit first?
Is there anything i can apply to areas in my house so my cat doesnt spray? I just discoverd one area that one my cats sprayed and its driving me crazy! Please is there any product like a repellent to avoid this behavior? What can i do?
