Is there supposed to be a mist that comes out of this? There’s nothing coming out that I can see!

Will this product help a female cat calm down if she's in heat to where she doesn't meow out real loud as much.
- No. This helps wonderfully with anxiety, fear, etc issue. But nothing will help during a cats heat process. Other than getting her spayed - I also work at a veterinary clinic

Does the plug-in work if scented candles are burning?
- I would say most likely...my diffuser is plugged in at my bedroom, and I have scented candles burning in the adjoining bathroom all day with the door open. The feliway has worked wonders to keep my senior cat calmer in this setting. Good luck!

Will this help at all with a cat that likes to bite? I mean bite not just a little nipple. i can be petting her and she is purring away and then she just up and attacks me then runs she always brings blood. She is a Siamese and I love her to death.
- My cat bites and has attacked me. After reading Jackson Galaxy’s book Total Cat Mojo I learned that many cats dislike being petted, they get overstimulated and will bite. Look for signs of overstimulated like tail wagging, ears back, eyes black. Unlike dogs who wag their tails when they’re happy, cats do it when they’re afraid, uncomfortable, angry….. They also NEED to “hunt” every day. Cats Hunt, Catch, Kill, Eat, Groom and Sleep. Playing with them every day is very important to for their hunting instinct. If they don’t use energy “hunting a toy mouse or snake , they will “hunt” you by attacking your hands, legs or if you move your feet or arms under the covers while you sleep. I use Feliway to calm her, if I don’t she will start biting more frequently. I can’t say enough about Total Cat Mojo, I’ve learned so much about cat behavior, posture and the “Raw Cat” inside our sweet feline companions. Hope this helps!

All my outlets are sideways. Can you turn the diffuser head so it will be upright?

I have a challenging feral kitten. I have been running a diffuser for weeks but replaced it because there was a pool of "oil" underneath the diffuser (on my granite counter). Brand-new one is now doing the same thing? Help
- Hello – You will want to check to ensure that the FELIWAY diffuser is properly plugged into the outlet and that the refill vial is on the bottom. Never plug in the diffuser upside down or in a horizontal position. All devices are checked during the production process before release on the market, but an issue can happen during transportation or use. Hi, I was wondering if there were vet recommended feliway sprays I can buy. They seem really pricey online and I don't want to spend money on one that end up being unreliable. Hi! I have 5 cats in my home and I have those new Airwick Essential Oil diffusers that run on batteries? (If you look it up, I'm sure you can find them!). I was wondering if it's safe to use with cats in the home? They have different oils but the ones I have are Lavender/Almond Blossom and Fresh Water Breeze. I can't seem to find the ingredient list for these two oils so I thought I'd post this. If you could please let me know if these are safe or which oils are safe, that would be wonderful!

Sorry, I thought I put the name of the medication. It's Gabapentin. It was given to me by my vet to decrease my cat's anxiety when taking him to checkups.
I asked a question a few days ago about how to help my cat with his extreme anxiety when traveling. I tried feliway spray which hardly did anything and my cat screamed and cried and scratched the whole way home. I was wondering if in the future he needs to travel with me, would it be ok to give him 1/2 of one of my alprazolam? I have 0.25mg tablets that I’m prescribed for panic and anxiety. Is this safe to give him rarely or does he really need a vet visit first?
