Hi, I was wondering if there were vet recommended feliway sprays I can buy. They seem really pricey online and I don't want to spend money on one that end up being unreliable. My cat gets really anxious in the carrier and sometimes spoils herself and starts panting so I'm in urgent need of feliway spray. Thank you!
How can I get my cat more comfortable when I have visitors over? I have Feliway plugged in and I don't have loud parties, but my terrified cat spent many hours in my box spring when a friend came over recently for a short visit. This always happens.
Hi, I'm going to move with my 8-months-old kitten in a couple of days and the trip will take over 5-6 hours. I've decided to use Beaphar products. What is it better to use to reduce the stress - the collar or the drops? And is there any product from that brand to help stranger cats get along?
Two weeks ago I moved into a new house. My 13 year old and 4 year old female cats have adapted well. My 8 year old male, Watson, wanders the house at night yowling. I've given him calming treats, canned food, favorite toys, and used Feliway diffusers. Is there anything else I can do to ease the adjustment for him?
Introducing two cats to a cat and dog household. Would the defusers for cat and dog work together if on at the same time or counteract each other?
My cat had a severe flea problem but now only one or two fleas are seen on her. What do I do for these? (They are from her biting) I have a flea collar and Advantage II on, I reapply Advantage on her every month.
Hi! I have 5 cats in my home and I have those new Airwick Essential Oil diffusers that run on batteries? (If you look it up, I'm sure you can find them!). I was wondering if it's safe to use with cats in the home? They have different oils but the ones I have are Lavender/Almond Blossom and Fresh Water Breeze. I can't seem to find the ingredient list for these two oils so I thought I'd post this. If you could please let me know if these are safe or which oils are safe, that would be wonderful!
My cat (17) is really troubled by fleas. She gets Revolution once/month. I believe it helps but even after 3 weeks she’s scratching furiously and sometimes meowing in dismay. Better medication? Treatment for environment?? Thank you.
I have a 17 year old cat and she has fleas, for the first time. I put Frontline on her and she tolerated it without a problem. But by the next week the fleas were back. The barn apartment is NOT flea infested. I have had Frontline fail on other cats that live at my house. Now it has failed on her as well and there is no contact between them.. And II am at at loss what to do. I am afraid of capstar at her age. Advice?
I tried a flea collar on my cats (one male and one female) and my female cat seemed to have a reaction of some sort. She began scratching the top of her head with her bacj claws, and actually took out two patches of hair. She is very sensitive, and has food allergies. I am unsure if the reaction was to the collar or flea bites. I immediately took the collar off both cats, figuring if only he had one one they'd attack her. How do I proceed as far as the fleas go. Treating her wound w coconut oil.
How long can Chloe be on a probiotic, fortiflora
My male cat, around 4, sprays constantly. I was told it's because He's not neutered and is around another male who is also not fixed. However that other cat does NOT spray. I was also told by getting him fixed he will not stop spraying because it's now a learned behavior. I don't want to put him through surgery if He's not going to stop spraying. I have used the feliway for multiple cats and it was money well wasted as he still hates the other unfixed male cat and still sprays. Any advice?
