I live in Colorado at altitude. We have a much extended snowy season with freezing nighttime temps. I can keep this at the barn and it does not freeze. I use it all winter to keep mane and tail breakage to a minimum. It keeps his tail smelling sweet all year long and does not attract dust. Used with a bit of water and it hydrates as well.

I love Vetrolin Shampoo, but I hated the Detangler. It left my horse’s tail dry and impossible to comb or brush out. Before tossing the bottle, I decided to use it differently than the instructions. I shampooed the tail, rinsed, worked the Detangler through the hair, left it in while shampooing the horse, then rinsed everything. It has been a week and even the fluffy shavings easily comb right out of his tail. It’s soft, thick and full. Now I love it.

I bought the vetrolin detangler and shine about a month ago to give it a try I really like it. It leaves their tails soft for days after putting it in. I was really impressed after using of products I usually have to put it in each time I want to brush their tails.

This product is wonderful, I used it when my horse was showing, and use it now that he is retired still! I shared with others at the bar and I was at and they now use it as well!

Having tried a couple other detangler products with ok results, Vetrolin detangler has by far exceeded my expectations. Excellent results on my Friesian and quarter/draft. Cuts time and energy spent on mane and especially tail. Love, love this product and will only use Vetrolin Detangler in the future. Great product
