The False Julii Cory Cat is a great cleanup crew member that does great with discus. Add a group and watch as they clean the bottom of the tank. They prefer lighter soft substrate for camouflage, which also helps them sift for food. They will spend most of their time scooting across the bottom of the aquarium, but sometimes you will see them swimming in the water column. They can be added to planted aquariums but not heavily planted since they need plenty of swimming space. Most of their diet will come from scavenging, but supplement their diet with sinking pellets and frozen meaty foods. Do not use a net to transfer this Cory Cat because it can damage their spines and barbels.

My betta has red tips on his tail and my cat fish Cory has red spots as well
My Cory catfish has developed a weird bubble on it’s gill and I can’t find any information about it
Is it fine to have three Cory catfish with a betta in a ten gallon tank
Hi, I bought 6 platy fish and a black corydora catfish about 2 weeks ago, all seem in good health bright colours and swimming round as normal they are in a 48l tank which the pet store said was a big enough tank for them all, but one of them seems to be loosing his scales or I’m afraid he may have itch but it dosent look like it I hope you can help, thanks.
I dont know if you are a tropical fish specialist. But there is something going on in my tank and need help diagnosing it. My corydora has two raised growths ..one at the base of its fin. And one under the eye. My pleco seems a bit tattered too. A little flashing was happening with my yoyo loach also. That's now stopped after a water change.
So I have an established and cycled 10 gallon tank with 1 white male platy and 1 albino Cory catfish, the filter creates a bit of a current and then I have a bubbler to add more of a current, I also have a older maybe 2-3 year old betta who is very chill and I wanted to know I could put him in this tank happily and without fault?
I’ve had two goldfish for about four years. Is it ok to separate them? They are currently housed with bullhead catfish, so the one I would keep wouldn’t be alone.
I used to have 7 Fish 2 gold comet Fish 2 Comet silver Fish and 3 Shubunkins one Gold Comet Fish died and the gold comet Fish that didn't die is now pecking at my other Fish and it looks soooooooooooo annoying please help xoxoxoxxoxoxoxoxox love Foxi
I am not able to ID my fish. It seems to belong to the family of snakehead bettas. But it is yellow in colour. They belly is a shimmering yellow gradually getting duller towards the tail. the tail and fins are yellow with red borders. Its eyes are blue. It seems to be enjoying staying at the top most of the time. Its not aggressive. Please help me ID my fish
Hi there, I'm not sure if this website applies to fish, but I don't have anyone in my area that can help. I have a gold nugget pleco and he eats veggies and driftwood all the time, has a large 55 gallon tank to himself and he has normal catfish habits-sleep during day, up at night. Anyways he was a beautiful black and gold but now his colour is fading... I looked it up and it means death (but he's eating and still very alive...). Is there anything you know about why else the colour could go?
Hi, I had a bettas fish and a clown pleco. A day after doing a complete cleaning of the tank, my better fish died and my pleco started acting weird. I tested the water. Ph 7, ammonia 0, nitrate 0, nitrite 0. He is not eating, his skin started to look like white, like shedding? And now is like coming off. Also, his belly is bloated. I attached pictures.
Is my marigold platy pregnant
