Poor design. Feeder sits on top of mounting bracket and is not attached to anything. Easy to knock over. Hard to add food. Unnecessary four feeding times making it difficult to set.

Very difficult to program. You can't control how much food comes out with each rotation. Don't expect it to last a week. I was away for a week and who knows how long the machine had been off. I had fresh batteries in it too

Programming instructions could be lots better. Is there a video on-line that shows the operation?

This thing is just unreliable and just bad. I tried it out before we left for 2.5 days. 3 clicks dispensed the perfect amount of pellets for my RES after about 5 times of trying. The first time it gave me none. Then four clicks dispensed about 30. I probably should have known then but I got it right where it needed to be. So I thought. We come back and the tank has soggy pellets that turned yellow and sank and stank! We don’t know how much or how little she got but there was A LOT wasted. So much we have to clean the entire tank and everything in it and we did that the day before we left. Just don’t. Try another brand. This one is going back!

For the $30 price tag, really disappointed in the product. The dispenser does not distribute the same amount of food consistently. Sometimes it dispenses 2 pellets and the next day maybe 10. Have tried different settings and it doesn’t matter. Very inconsistent and for $30+, not worth it. Very disappointed!

A last minute purchase before I went out of town. The piece of mind I got knowing my babies were taken care of was more than worth it!

barrel fell into water 1st week. worst design ever. How did this find its way onto the shelf? I needed a fish feeder, was in a jam, bad call by me thinking Petco wouldn't stock absolute garbage.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Difficult to program and the barrel practically spins itself off after 2 feedings despite efforts to make sure it was attached well.
