My rabbit loved this toy while it lasted! She is a Flemish Giant so play time definitely didn't last long for her. I think she liked the texture and sound of it rolling around the wooden floor. I liked the size, but do think they should make a larger one for buns her size. I will definitely get her more of this toy!

When I received my stick ball in the mail I was pretty impressed, the ball was in great condition and all the sticks were weaved in tightly so it wouldn't fall apart. My bunny was able to easily pick it up throw it around as well. For even more fun, I was able to push some treats into the middle for him to dig out.

My bunny really enjoyed this ball. He tore it up very quickly, to no surprise. I do not like the fact that it came with small wooden balls. For larger rabbits (like mine), he could easily put the entire ball in his mouth and potentially choke. It’s not an appropriate toy for any animal. However, they were easy to remove. I just moved some of the twigs out the way and removed them. Overall, once the inner wooden balls were removed, my rabbit had a blast tearing this thing apart!

If you are looking for a great chew toy for your rabbit, Guinea pig, etc this is definitely NOT the right toy for you. On the front of the tag it claims it’s a small animal “CHEW TOY” for Guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, and rats. It also claims this toy “encourages instinct to chew and alleviates boredom. All these things sounded like exactly what I wanted! But when I received the toy in the mail I saw that the ball itself is made from what appears to be very skinny strips of wood. Which unfortunately if chewed on might splinter and cause harm to your pet. So with this concern I decided to read the warning on the back of the tag (which unfortunately I didn’t think to do before purchasing). On the bag it states “Always supervise pet during play to prevent accidental swallowing of small parts. Inspect regularly to ensure a safe chewing experience. REMOVE FROM HABITAT WHEN ANY PART BECOMES WORN OR SHARP.” So basically it’s a “chew toy” that you must take away from your pet if they have noticeably chewed on. And it may alleviate their boredom but I hope your ok with watching them the entire time the play…. So yeah…. I’m definitely super disappointed with this item. And please learn from my mistakes and alway read the warnings before purchasing.
