Good idea but too hard to get your pet out with the shelf in. You have to remove the whole top from the tank and tube falls out which is frustrating to get back in. It was worth it for me for over half off because with the lid out it allows me to stack things high in cage without hamster chewing the lid.

Bought for half off and it’s so worth it. Fit my Thrive Tank perfectly and great for my pet fancy mice.

I bought this a month ago and my gerbils have already chewed through the plastic and the bottom is now useless. Why isn’t the whole thing made of metal? The top at least holds together well and I guess I can hang stuff now?

Really disappointed. This product isn’t even worth $20.00 and i’m beyond confused on all these good reviews ??? #1 this is dangerous for the hamster and louse if needed to be removed. #2 the packaging and assembly is horrific and outrageous zip ties. #3. this product makes no sense. I don’t even want to return the product because of the hassle. I want a full refund and I don’t want the burden or returning. I’d rather throw this is the garbage to be honest.

This tank topper is actually pretty neat. It creates an open space to add fun climing levels for my pet rats. It did come with a second story platform but I really did not care for that piece. The top gate makes it easy to let the rats come up to us for play time and having the glass to watch them play is just too cute!

When I chose this topper I was excited for my beardie to have another thing to play on and get more activity. Unfortunately I misjudged the size of his tank because the topper ended up being too big. Once he has a bigger set up, we will update our review

This came at just the right time. We had been looking for a topper for our tank. Super easy to set up and i love being able to just look at my babies instead of opening a top. I was so excited that we set it up immediately. One thing i love is itgives just another added space up top. Thats cool.

This product is a great concept and a fantastic way to add some extra space and more interactive variables for a hamster, mouse, etc. I do have a few drawbacks. 1. There is no bottom border around the edge of the wire so bedding can fall out and create a mess around the cage. If there was some type of clear glass or plexiglass border it could solve this problem. 2. It could be taller and with added height = more space for activities. 3. The ladder is plastic so if your pet chews plastic, you may have to replace the ladder after a time. I do wish the ladder was thicker material and less flimsy.
