My cat started ripping the rope off the bottom by scratching it within the first 5 minutes of having it. Complete waste of money

I bought this about a month ago and my 4 month old kitten has already unravelled the post and ball.

Overall, I like the design and the rope material used. My foster cats love it. The only issue I really have is the bottom base. The rope wrapped around it on the base unravels and comes off of the base. I had to cut it off after just one week because of this. I wouldn't mind so much, but because it's still attached to the unit, it creates small noose's. Kinda freaks me out. I came downstairs to feed them and the young girl had her head caught up in it. So, I cut off the entire rope of the bottom base. I think a stronger glue would be better. Or maybe some sort of stitching to keep it fully connected to the base.

Our cat loved this so much, we replaced it with the same one. It’s sturdy, well made, and lasted about a year, after normal wear and tear. Highly Recommended by Lady. :)

2 days later I bought this, my kitten broke the ball part. It has now been 13 days and she got into it and we see that there is foam inside. Terrible
