Super cute! My cats love it and use it constantly!

This is a very cute scratching post, and it's one of the largest versions in the "small" post category (the ones that are not quite tall enough for an adult cat to fully stretch out). I was pleasantly surprised that it was mostly assembled when I opened the box (the last one I bought had a few more places to screw together - this one only needed to have the base attached). I also really like the quality and feel of the green velvet on the post base. I've heard my cat use it once so far, so time will tell if this one's a true keeper, but it's certainly a nice visual option.

My cat really enjoys this product, I have it in the bedroom so she access to scratch something instead of the side of the mattress and she goes to it as soon as she comes into the room every time. I was worried about it flaking off as she scratches but no mess.

This scratching post is super cute, I love the blue color for the base and the cactus shape is really fun. It seems well made, and I haven't noticed issues with the base not being heavy enough. All that being said, my cats are just not interested. I've had it for like two weeks now and I've seen them use it like three times. They much prefer the furniture next to it.I wish it were taller, I think it's just too short for them to really properly use it.

First of all it is so cute! It's adorable and a great size for scratching for a long cat. The material is durable and the scratcher was so easy to assemble. It was one simple screw that put the two parts together!

This cat scratcher is absolutely phenomenal. Its the perfect combination of functional and adorable. The ball on top is ideal for a game of chase. The padded velvet on the base is great for comfort. The different angles and shapes of the cactus is well-designed for all stages and ages.

I bought this in late November for my cats and it is already falling apart. Very disappointed.

My eleven pound cat absolutely loves scratching his cowboySouthwest decor scratcher! Working out on the scratcher is the first thing he does every morning. True, it has toppled on occasion but very well serves an arthritic cat who months ago fell off the top of a tall scratching tower. The scratcher rope is more like yarn and did fray quickly. We wish that it had a heavier base, giving more stability and a rope that did not fray so quickly. Overall, we are delighted with the scratcher. For me, it is a smart addition to my decor and an interesting conversation piece. All in all, we recommend the Cactus although it may be better suited to kittens and the elderly!
