I tired the hittin’ my stride training collar with my German shepherd. I don’t like this product at all. Product is well built, but the design of it could be better, on a dog that is rambunctious, when clipping the chain, it gets twisted pretty good and then the prongs don’t work the right way and don’t make pressure, or release the right way. When training a dog, they won’t sit long enough to put lots of clips on and when they move the chain twists very easily. I would never use this product or recommend this product.

I love the fact that this collar has helped train my dog and it also looks good around his neck the only dislike I would say is it was kind of complicated at first to put on. But I definitely recommend

I received these products for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. EveryYay Quick-Release Training Dog Collar, XX-Large/XXX-Large. I put it on my siberian Husky to help with her pulling on the leash. It work well and for her and I do like that it has a quick release on it. I did remove a few of the links to get the fit right. But over all I really like this collar.

I am a firm believer in Herm Sprenger prong collars, I do not believe there is anything really better out there. However after trying out this collar, I really like it. There is a quick release that typically ruins the whole point of a prong, but this quick release doesn’t. Overall it’s a great collar.

Sturdy collar, Nice training collar. Easy on and off clasp. Makes the dogs behave well. I think it is well constructed and would be easy to remove links to size down. My only issue is the was supposed to be xxl-xxxl. I would consider the sizing on this collar to be a large at best. I do have a large dog. But he isn’t a xxxl dog the collar is perfect size for him. If you have a dog with a larger neck I don’t think they make the size you are looking for. I have a German shepherd/chocolate lab. He doesn’t have a wide neck. Be cautious of the sizing purchase extra links if possible if you have anything bigger than a large dog.

My dog got this off his neck a few times, and NOT by slipping it over his head. He managed to undo the prongs and get it off that way. The quick-release was a little too "release" for me; he got it off that way too.

This product is great. I have a Great Dane/doberman mix and she pulls. With having this collar on she no longer pulls and will actually walk next to me. This has been a great addition to her harness for our walks.

In the right hands, this collar is ine every trainer should have in their toolbox!! I have used these collars on all of my dogs for the last 20+ years. You HAVE to learn how to use it correctly!! This style makes it easy to put on and take off since you don't have to slip it over their head. The XL has sturdy links for the bigger dogs. You can purchase extra links if you need the collar larger.
