Definitely not my chinchillas favorite chew stick. They are a LOT smaller then I thought they were gonna be and I've noticed my chinchilla likes natural bark and this chew stick seems to be sanded down so he doesn't show interest in chewing but he'll hold it for a good minute then move on to the next..

I gave these sticks to my chinchillas and tested them over a few weeks, both in their cage and during playtime. Both took to them immediately, chewing consistently, which helps keep their teeth trimmed. They’re long-lasting, natural, and don’t leave much mess. I was surprised the sizing was consistent. They weren’t too thin and just thick enough to keep them busy. I usually go through treats like these quickly but not this brand. I was also surprised to find no powdery residue that others have had in the past. These chew sticks are a great addition to my chinchillas’ habitat. I’ll keep buying them since they’re safe, effective, and one of the few chews they actually enjoy!

I got these chew sticks for my jersey woolly rabbit. (so not a large rabbit.) But these sticks that specifically say they are ideal for small animals (which include rabbits) are way too small for him. As shown in my pictures, they are about half the size around as my pinky finger. I won’t even be giving them to him because I’m concerned he could chew off large chunks and swallow them. They might be a fine size for a mouse but definitely not for a rabbit. In addition to the size issues probably the most concerning thing is the warnings on the back of the package. They state “Remove from habitat when any part becomes worn or sharp.” Isn’t it supposed to become worn? Isn’t that the point of a CHEW toy? I really don’t know how they can expect something to be safe for small animals to chew on if it specifically says it must be taken away from your pet if it becomes worn…. Unfortunately due to all the reasons mentioned above I do not feel these chews are safe to give my rabbit. And I definitely would not recommend them to any other rabbit owners. These are not a good chew toy for your rabbit.

I received this product for free from spotted by Petco in exchange for my honest review. My rabbit absolutely loves these. Rabbits love to chew! They are also suited well for a hamster or other small animal.

These are thin pieces of wood - think twigs. I gave them to our rabbits. The rabbits did not immediately want the pieces of wood. These do seem to be more natural (no paint or artificial color) which I think makes them better.
