Have a spunky new rescue chihuahua mix and she is skittish. So much so she will resist any efforts to trim her nails. We have 4 dogs so I have trimmed nails hundreds of times--but with Ricki Ricardo, no luck. I sit on the floor and flip them over and cradle them between my legs. My wife distracts them with peanut butter on a spoon. Besides going to a groomer or vet, any ideas? I thought maybe a groomer table might help. Are there premium nail cutters of higher quality than store bought?
How do you cut cat nails ?
Can I clip my rabbit's nails myself?
Hi, I've had my guinea pigs for a few months now, and have read that I should be clipping their nails. I bought a nail clipper, but the guinea pigs won't let me get anywhere close with it. How do I go about trimming? Thank you!
How can you tell when a dog needs their nails cut?
My dog has pure black nails and they need trimmed but I have no idea where to cut! I’m scared I’ll cut them too short and she’ll yip and start bleeding.
Whenever I clip my kittens claws they crack and I've tried clipping quickly to prevent it but it doesn't work. Will this effect their nails or is it normal to look like this?
I have a 9-lb terrier mix. I like her to look shaggy instead of trimmed. I know her nails need to be trimmed but is there any health benefit to trimming her hair - for instance, keeping her face trimmed to keep her hair from getting in her eyes?
Hi there I have a one-year-old bunny who will refuse to let me cut his nails never had him cut before. Attempted to cut them and he freaks out. How much would it cost or where do I go to get his nails cut . Can I go to petco or pet shop groom to have this done
I how a 10 year yorkie/maltests mix and noticed her front toe nails are very long and curving. Apparently her groomer has not been trimming them, Can they be trimmed with no pain to her or does she need to see her vet.
I need help/advice regarding my dogs nails and trimming them. They seem to have been causing him some discomfort and I'm not sure what to do. Everytime I try to groom them he'll yelp in pain and I'm afraid that I'm hurting him. They seem very sensitive and I'm afraid I let them grow too long and it's hurting him. Thank you. Michal
Can I trim my puppies nails or am I best letting a vet do it
