I ordered 3 more after sampling this blanket. I wish they were a little bigger but the cover my large dogs bed. Not sure how long the smell lasts after washing but my dog still enjoys after several washes. Be careful if your dog chews on blanket there is a warning about it being toxic.

Really nice blanket that helps my elderly dog sleep at night! Long story short she whines sometimes at night, but once we added this blanket to her setup it seemed to help calm her, and she whines a lot less now. It's soft, but not the weird scratchy kind of soft that sends a shiver down your spine. It also smells vaguely(?) of lavender but not to the point where it's overpowering like some 'calming' products I've gotten. I would not recommend this for dogs that are extreme chewers, however. The fabric is a bit thin and would likely be ripped apart into shreds within a few minutes. I also would do a gentle wash in the washing machine. My dogs love this blanket! Ever since we got it out of the box it was shipped in my dogs have been attracted to it. The lavender scent is subtle and not overpowering and the blanket is super soft. This blanket was a good size for my bigger dogs.

This blanket is lightweight and is perfect to throw over my dog regardless of the temperature. He really likes this blanket. It's a great looking throw as well and looks good just sitting on the couch any time as well.

My dog loves walks but with the freezing temperatures right now, he rushes home and runs to the nearest blanket. For the past week, it has been this one. I wouldn’t say this product necessarily stands out from others, but it does the job. It’s soft and smells great! He seems to like it, so in my book, that’s all that matters.

We absolutely love this pet blanket ! It is so soft and so warm that I'd like to keep it for myself instead of the pup! MY pup has been on this blanket non stop for naps, or even just relaxing time.
