Really nice hideaway. The fabric is short but soft. It doesn't get matted together which is great. It provides a source of comfort for any animal needing a 'hide space'. It helped my new rat adjust much easier to his new home. Can support a good amount of weight and is a very appealing color.

We have a female lovebird that absolutely loves this cuddle corner. She can be aggressive in cage and this gives her something to cuddle up with. It took her a couple of days to warm up to it but once she did, she loves it.

If your bird likes to bury themselves in blankets or snuggle up in a nest, this is the hit for them!! It’s fuzzy and soft so they’ll love cuddling but may need initial encouragement to try out the floating house! Takes a few days to reshape but overall fun house for them!

Once I received the package I took the bird hideaway out to my parakeet. I'm not sure what he did not like about this but he would not touch it. I tried to coax him into it with food and he would not even touch the food inside. It may be the feel of the hideaway as it is a bit rough for me but I never thought it would be that way for a bird. Here is the picture of the empty hideaway in the cage.

I received these products for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. The EveryYay Happy Place Parakeets Hideaway is very, very soft. The quality is very durable, it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy like other ones you can buy. One thing I didn't like, is because of the way its packaged, when you take it out of the packaging, it takes some doing to get it strait and not leaning/crooked, favoring/smushed to one side. The size is 7 in. long x 4 in. wide x 5 in. tall. It says in the website description, "Not Suitable for Conures", but I'm not sure why. It might be based on which species of conure you have. It might be too small for a sun conure, but I feel it's the perfect size for my smaller, green cheek conure. I, personally, would recommend this for parakeets or smaller/similar sized birds. It comes with two (2) metal d-shape, threaded, drop screw, locking carabiners that are very sturdy and keep the hideaway in place. It's very easy to hang in the cage. It's also very easy to spot clean/hand wash, if needed. Personally, I probably wouldn't recommend putting it in the washing machine if you'd want to keep the soft plushness, but I haven't tried. This is also something that I would recommend introducing to your birds as a baby or at least, a younger age. My 1.5-year old conure wasn't very sure about and is still trying to get used to it. Overall, I would hands down, absolutely 100% recommend this product! Your bird/s will thank you!

My birds took to this hideaway right away. I thought they would be nervous because it’s new but they really love it. It’s the perfect size for my budgies. I love the color. It’s really soft and way to wash too.

This cute little hide is great for my bird to play in. She loves snoozing in it and playing peek a boo with me. Its soft and easy for her to hold on to. Overall it is perfect for a small bird and i would highly recommend

EveryYay Happy Place Parakeet bed. I put this in my birds cage but it’s a little too big for the cage. I would be great if it had a back wall but it’s open from the front and back. My birds did like it but they continue to make their nest at the bottom of the cage.
