I know this is for hamsters but it makes a wonderful house for small birds such as budgies. The fabric is thin enough to easily cut a small hole in order to mount a flat wooden perch inside that covers the floor for sleeping. If your bird is a messy eater like mine, it's a great way to cover the metal food bowl, the small size bowl fits through the circular cutouts.

This is a cute cube for hamsters, mice, or gerbils. I actually mistakenly got it for my ferret, because I thought she would like it (and she is one of the smallest ferrets I have ever seen), but she cannot fit into it. For other small animals (smaller than a ferret), I think this would be perfect. I like that the fabric is sort of like tent material, so it would be easy to clean if they made a mess in it. The clips and strings however are a little flimsy. I am uncertain how they would hold up over time, but I guess a hamster, gerbil or mouse wouldn't weigh much, so it would probably be fine. Just make sure you have the kind of cage with bars or something at the top for this to clip to, since it is meant to hang.
