I see that the height is 10.5 in. Airlines only allow up to 8 in high. Will the carrier compress/squish down a few inches, to fit under an airline seat?

Below are soft parameters: Alaska = 9.5" Delta & American = 10.5" United = 11" Southwest 13.5" All other airlines not noted. Thanks,

Is the actual carrier machine washable as well?

    Don’t put in a washing machine that has an agitator or it will destroy it.  Recommend a washing machine that’s front loading that has no agitator or a clean by hand.
