Questions
My cats love this water fountain. I want to replace the little sponge which is protecting the motor. Dirt gets trapped in it. I clean the sponge along with the rest of the fountain each time I change the water. How can I order replacement sponges?
- Just use aquarium filter coarse sponges! Exact same material, and super cheap. Get a couple then cut it to size to fit the pump. Works like a charm.

In the back of the blue “lid” part there is a little removable stopper - is there a bottle/reservoir that I can buy to keep the water level full?? What is the purpose of this feature?

Hello, We've just purchased the Classic Waterfall Fountain and cannot get it to work. Where can we get more precise instructions. We can hear the motor running BUT then we discovered water all over the floor.
- The exit nozzle of the water pump needs to be lined up with the tube on the cover. The pump fits in different orientations, but only one will line up with the tube. If it is not lined up properly water will fill up the pump chamber and exit out the opening that the power cord fits through the base. Also, be sure there is no plastic flashing or any other things blocking the tube on the cover or the flow out fitting. Hope this helps.

- nope all these devices are ac, it's like a pump for a fish tank has magnet to drive the the water and you take them apart to clean. Once a week vinegar soak the parts clean or change filter.

I was given this fountain second-hand, but it looks like it's missing a portion of the power cord. The end has a circular tip, like you'd see with an audio plug connection. Is there a part I'm missing that would allow it to plug into a regular outlet?

This fountain is so loud and it sound broken I’ve had this thing for about a month can I get a replacement pump or something? It wasn’t loud at first and it is always full with water to the top. It sputtering and my canta won’t drink when it does that.
- We had that problem too. Our filter was clogged and it wouldn't let enough water through, so the pump was loud and sounded like there was not enough water in the reservoir. We replaced the filter, it helped, but didn't cure the noise. The plastic pieces just don't stay as tight together as when we first got it. I don't see that issue getting any better.

What kind of water fountain i can get for my cat?
Should I purchase a water fountain for my dog? She does drink on her own several times a day. But that sounds like a good idea. Does it really encourage them to drink more water? Is it easy to clean? I currently like to wash my dogs water bowl daily with warm water and soap. Would this be doable with a water fountain? thanks!

Hello, A couple of days ago, i began to see my cat pawing at her water bowl instead of drinking from it. What concerns me is that i’m not sure when this habit started, i am afraid she hasn’t been drinking enought water as she’s supposed to. I suspect she has diarrhea, because when she’d do her business in the litter box i’d see wet poop stains on the carpet. I have currently bought a water fountain, if that changes anything. Hi! I just adopted a 5 month old kitten with CH. I've had him for two days, and have not been able to get him to drink water from a bowl. I've tried several types of bowls with no luck. I've been adding extra water to his wet food in the meantime, which he eats just fine, but I don't think that's an ideal solution long-term. He has a vet appointment next week, but any help in the meantime would be appreciated.
I add a capful of Arm and Hammer Fresh breath to my cat's water bowl every day and I thought he liked it. But I have caught him drinking out of the toilet several times this week. Does this mean he doesn't like it?
