Questions
How heavy is bottom? Is it stable and they can't pull it over!?
- I think it is stable enough. It's a thinner base board than the original scratcher exactly like this that I bought years ago though. The carpet is cheaper stuff too. I am waiting to see if my boy who loved the original to death is going to like this one or not.

Once this is put together, can it be dis-assembled and re-assembled (with the proper tools, assuming an Allen wrench)? I'm planning to get this or something like it for traveling with 2 cats to a (cat-friendly) rental home.

My kitten likes to scratch my wooden chair, doors,and occasionally the door frames. I bought her a wooden cat scratcher with catnip and all she does is bite, sleeps, and lays on it. Do you have any recommendations on what would be a good scratching post? Sisal rope, Sisal carpet, and etc?

My cat has a serious and obsessive scratching behavior. I have tried EVERYTHING. She is neutered, tried ALL TYPES OF SCRATCHING POSTS/MATS, tried deterrent sprays, covering the area she scratches, ect. She has an issue scratching the carpet of my home specifically in all the corners. I have covered them all except one because she moves what is covering it. my cat is consyantly scratching I have switched her food over the months 4x gave it a while some she seems to scratchore i went with hills worked but still the scratching not as much. was giving her nutra vet with omega skin&coat vitamins stopped & it was 24-7 scratching.she scratches a little now. what else can i do.
