Similar to other reviews, this bowl does not work for water. The whole bottom rusted out in a couple of months despite regular cleaning and drying.

Bought 3 bowls, two for food, one for water. In terms of non skid, they hold up to the claim. No complaints with food bowls. However, would not recommend for water bowl. As previous reviewer stated, bottom of the bowl always has condensation on it. Today upon washing, I noticed that the bowl holder has rusted in two places - along the base where the anti skid rubber connect to the bowl holder, and where the bowl sits on the holder.

I bought this as the description said it was a small food bowl. The metal removable bowl is small. The large pseudo-stone holder is massive though... I didnt keep mine, because I didnt want a bunch of large bowls around. If i could have bought metal inserts to use, I would have kept the one and bought those. Not an option though. I returned it.

It works like you would expect lol. But i like the grips since my dog cant scoot the bowl around anymore.

The quality of the materials used to make this are very good. I like that the bottom of the outer piece has a rubber rim around it because it helps it from moving across the floor when my dog drinks her water from it. I like that the inner piece is stainless steel and sturdy. Also Since it's not just the stainless steel bowl, the outer piece also helps to minimize the clicking sound that other bowls we've used have made. What I don't like is how much wider the base is than the bowl itself. It takes up much more room than the other bowl that we have and it just looks odd next to the other one. It would be much easier to take out and put the bowl back in the base of the base had a little cut out in the lip of it where your thumb or finger could more easily grab the bowl. And since we use this as a water bowl and the base has the rubber bottom piece but is otherwise hollow between it and the bowl, when I go to change the water or refill it when it's empty, the bottom of the stainless steel bowl is covered in water. I'm pretty sure it's condensation but it's a LOT and it's consistently wet every single time I've changed or refilled the water since we've had it and it's been a couple weeks now. This concerns me about the longevity of the bowl being that it's always wet like that on the bottom. If we used it as a food dish, then I don't think we'd have the wet issue. But other than that it's pretty good quality and it serves it's purpose.

This stainless steel large dog food bowl is high quality and looks lovely. It's big enough to feed a 100 pound dog and with it's wide base you don't have to worry about the food getting knocked out of the bowl. There's also a nice grip seal around the bottom edge for extra durability. I would highly recommend this product.

Super cute and a great size to leave at the sink for all our kitties to drink from! Only thing is that I wish the rubber “ring” around base was a bit more grippy since the cats still have a pretty easy time sliding it off the counter, but it’s definitely still better than the old Tupperware we were using before this. The metal marble base also seems to be rusting somewhat? Not anywhere near where the water goes & where the cats drink from, just weirdly right underneath the rim of the opening where the bowl sits if that makes sense. It wipes off when cleaned though, so no biggie! Otherwise love this little bowl

Absolutely love this bowl. I had a stainless steel bowl that just slid across the floor. This took care of the problem my dog was having chasing the bowl around. The rim is also great looking and both bowl and rim are easy to clean. Good product at a great price.
