I feed them in separate bowls on each side of the fireplace. They are grazers eat some leave etc. I put morning portion in their bowl and then later if empty evenings. I’d like to them to eat all their dry food in two meals and finish in a timely manner. How to train them to do this without making them get too skinny? And how many cups should I feed them? Tot has a nasal tumor and chicken and rice is the only thing she wants to eat that does not cause diarrhea. I want to keep giving her the chicken and rice, since she loves it, but I know this is not nutritionally adequate. She is still a happy dog, with the usual senior energy level. Can I add vitamins or a nutritional supplement to help ? She also takes vetmedin, Lasix, and Enalapril for heart disease. My regular vet suggested a nutritionist, but they want $400..

I started feeding my Yorky home cooked human food. The diet I am feeding her ears chicken rice that is boiled and then I add 100% pure organic pumpkin & spring water for moisture.
