This is the perfect size for a small dish. I use a bigger and heavier dish for my chinchilla food as my chinchilla is a little temperamental when he's out of food. If the bowl is not full enough, he will push it off the ledge. I like having this smaller bowl to use for his treats. I put it in his cage when it's treat time. After he's finished, I remove it until the next day he gets treats. Very durable and safe for my chinchilla!

This white bowl is made of durable material that a small mammal cannot bite through. We looked specifically for something that was NOT plastic. This was perfect. It is too heavy for a small animal to move, which is good.

This is a very good, sturdy bowl. It is too small for full size guinea pigs, but would be good for smaller animals (gerbils, hamsters, etc). But it has a good weight so not easily knocked over. Overall good bowl.

This is a very small bowl, keep in mind if ordering online. Perfect for hamsters, mice or anything small. Nice heavy weight, can't be tipped over easily. The ceramic is washable and cleans out with no odor or residue left behind. Love that I can wash by hand or place in dishwasher.

The EveryYay Dining food bowl is heavier than our hamster's previous one, which prevents him from knocking it over less frequently and creates less cleaning for us. It's also a nice neutral color and slightly wider than our last. Most importantly, it's a hit with our hamster!
