The gold color in bowl peals off when water is in bowl. Not health for pet. Yellow film in pets drinking water. I have two and stopped using them.

Pretty but gold film peels off!
Pretty but the gold peels! Not a healthy choice if your doggie swallows the peel. See pictures.

Chipped after two uses
As cute and affordable as these are, the "gold" bubbled up and chipped off within a couple of uses. I did buy four at the time and it only happened with one after 3 months now, but it's disappointing and I wouldn't recommend.

Why in the description does it say machine washable but then in specifications it's his hand wash only?
