Well-made product for dogs not prone to bloat!

This is a well-made product and my dog enjoyed it, but I wish I would have known before buying it that elevated food bowls can increase your dog's risk of bloat, which can be fatal. It's mostly on me for not doing enough research, but I think including a note in the product information about how elevated food bowls aren't for every dog would have been really helpful here! I've learned that these are mainly beneficial for dogs with orthopedic issues and only with a vet recommendation. I hope this review helps others!

Perfect item for my needs, but in poor condition

This item is much bigger than I had pictured, but perfect for our needs, with 2 German shepherds. The only thing I wasn’t happy with was the condition they were received, due to how they were packaged. They both have big deep scratches over them, making them look used.

It’s an ok stand. Plastic is thin and not sure how long this will hold up. Holds about 3 cups of water so have to refill quite often. Will look for one that is made nicer but this works for the moment

Was much larger than I was expecting. Definitely for large dogs. My 6 month puppy can just barely eat out of it, but since she’s still growing we’re going to keep it. Good quality and bowls are large. Shipping was also quicker than estimated.

What ever you do, never use these for water for large dogs. I have 2 Great Danes, and I bought 2 of them. You end up with a moat of water from drop back. Gross!

The best feature is that it has a high back to both bowls so any water or food that comes out of my dog's mouth stays there instead of on my wall or floor.

Regarding my review, the picture shows a sliw feeder bowl on the left side. I purchased it separately from Petco and it fits perfectly. The feeder came with two bowls like the one on the right.

I've been looking for an elevated feeder this size for our greyhound. It is perfect! Stylish and very well designed with a raised back to contain the water splashes. A quality product for a very low price. So pleased with it!

What is the diameter of the bowls?

    The bowls are 9 inches across and a little over 3 inches deep. They are big I bought for 80 lb dog and I don't come close to filling it up/except for the water one.
